This is the Violetta Dress. I named it after dancer I met at ballet class at @ABTofficial (technically @abtschool). It was a great dress. Delicate lace from @sophiehalletteofficial with tiny threads of gold embroidered into it. The skirt was extremely flattering which made it a bestselling dress at @KleinfeldBridal and @MonAmieBridalSalon. The photo is taken by @Johndolanphotog in #Paris with #MarieveNadeau.

The Enchante Dress

I have always loved the look of tiny @Swarovski buttons at the back of a wedding dress. It marries the Victorian tradition with something new and exciting. When I first launched a collection with Swarovski buttons @_Rachelleonard, the editor in chief of @Brides described the look as #Rockandroll.

ENCHANTE DRESS

This is the Enchante Dress. It is at this point when I see all the copy-cat and charlatan designers come out with a similar style. Shall I call them out now???

Inspired by my Cecilia dress that launched my career in 1996. I felt like updating it by keeping the drama but adding a slimmer silhouette.

ENCHANTE DRESS

One of my most favorite dresses, The Enchante Dress and one of my favorite photoshoots with one of my favorite photographers @peter.morneau. This photo was taken during covid, and at the time it was challenging to find models that reflected the collection I was presenting. Here is @alexdobsky, who I met at a restaurant and asked her if she would be in my upcoming campaign. This was her first photoshoot and I think she did an #amazing job.

The Anna Dress

Building and discovering the nuances of an exquisite silk peau de soie. This dress can only be made by hand draping on a dress form.
As we produced many of these dresses in our atelier, each skirt had to be hand draped by our artisans.

The Verona II Dress

Another beautiful photo of @tanyahoward from the @nationalballet of Canada. Immortalized and shrouded by grace wearing the Verona II dress. One of the bestselling dresses that I designed. Named after my daughter @Verona94. Flattering on everyone!! Here featured for the first time to buyers and fashion press at @NYLBFW. An interesting fact. Later that year someone else very special from @nationalballet wore that same style for an important event - stay tuned for more interesting facts about the Verona II Dress .....

THE ANNA DRESS

The Anna Dress known for its deeply drop waist and delicately draped silk peau de soie skirt. The silk peau de soie was created for me by an Indian mill that is no longer in business. I tirelessly collected swatches of silk and tested every one by making sample dresses to make sure that the fabric was going to be compatible. In most cases designers design small versions of their gowns on 3/4 sized dress forms. (They actually look like little dolls). They do this in order to save fabric and get the pattern right so the pattern could be adapted to a full size body shape. - - - I don't do this. I could never get a good enough "read" of the fabric when I tried. At the very most, I design throug...

THE ANNA DRESS

This is one of the best photoshoots that I have ever done.
There was tremendous care and creativity with the @MacroBlu team.

This is the Anna Dress. Named after my friend #AnnaHalpine.

We loved the light as feather silk taffeta pick up /"releve" bolero jacket that drapes over the shoulders and beautifully accents a strapless dress.
