This is one of my favorite photos. It is a runway photograph of the Verona II Dress named after my daughter @Verona94. The photo is from @NYLBFW and taken by @Lecca_dan. The dancer is @TanyaHoward from the @NationalBallet. This dress was very popular, and it kept our sewing machine operators in Gatineau Quebec very busy. Once I was invited to travel to China to take a tour through one of the largest wedding dress factories in the world, and I was shocked to see the factory workers trying to copy this dress!!! They had purchased a copy (probably from one of my retailers who had a supernatural allegiance to another designer - I know who, and I am not mentioning any names), and the dress was on the dress form with seams ripped apart and draped muslin loosely covering and mimicking each meticulous fold. I was sick to my stomach. When the owner of the Chinese factory realized that I was the original designer, she tried to apologize, and win me back, but it was too late. I was on my way out. Never again!!
